Kids Eat Free
If there’s one thing kids do well, it’s eat. Somehow even the smallest of bodies are able to hide away pounds and pounds of food and still want more.
During the school year, approximately 290,000 kids in Minnesota receive free or reduced lunch. To avoid a nutritional gap during summer months, the Minnesota Vikings have paired up with Target, Second Harvest Heartland and the Minnesota Department of Education to offer summer meals for kids.
Kids Eat Free offers meals and snacks to kids ages 1-18 at locations across the metro area from June 21st – August 27th.
